Can-Am began in 1971 under the direction and leadership of American Gary Robinson developing motocross and enduro powersports. Serial Production began in 1973 and the Can-Am machines made an immediate impact with motocross riders winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the International Six Days Trial. In 1974, Can-Am was the first brand to sweep the AMA 250 cc motocross national championship which allowed Can-Am to gain a reputation for their high power outputs.
Forty plus years later, Can-Am today develops and produces 3 wheel motorcycles, ATV’s and Side by Sides for all sorts of riders.
